We are excited to announce today that Evocative (now VPLS) is ranked among the fastest-growing private companies in the Bay Area by the San Francisco Business Times. The winners and rankings were unveiled during a virtual honoree reception on October 29th.

Reporting an annual growth of more than 350% between 2017 and 2019, Evocative (now VPLS) achieved a ranking of no. 13 on this year’s list. This is the company’s second consecutive year ranking on the list of the Fastest Growing Private Companies in the Bay Area. Last year, Evocative (now VPLS) achieved the no. 6 position on the Bay Area list and no. 2 in the East Bay list.

“We are extremely proud to once again receive this honor. Our team prides ourselves on our high level of service and wide portfolio range, which includes what was previously known as the Evocative Data Centers. With the growth of remote work and the increase in digital connections, it is now more important than ever for our customers to be able to share, protect, and access their data assets. That’s why VPLS continues to expand our data center offerings, adding more locations and services than ever before. We look forward to continuing to grow alongside our partners and customers.

Arman Khalili, CEO of VPLS

In addition to its data centers in San Francisco, VPLS also offers data center locations in Arizona, Texas, Virginia, and, in its newest location, Hawaii. Globally, the company also operates PoPs in Asia and Europe, providing businesses with a highly connected network spread across technology hubs around the world.
